Behold the saddest trophy case you've ever seen
That is the sum total all my trophys earned across 12 fantasy seasons! You can see I made it to the championship game twice and lost both times and I had a very mediocre 3rd place finish in 2008.
Even considering the fact that I had no idea what I was doing the first couple seasons, this is a very poor performance across an entire decade.
It's not due to lack of effort either. I would spend countless hours each fantasy season prepping for the draft. I was heavily involved during the season picking guys up off the waiver wires and trying to make my team as strong as possible. In the end it didn't matter. I was never able to make it over the hump.
It was after another disappointing season in 2014 I was stewing about why it wasn't working.
It became quite clear that my shortfall was a result of mistakes I made during the draft. It didn't matter how many hours I spent doing player research and mock drafts, come draft day I always made critical mistakes and I would end up picking bad players that were less than optimal for the leagues I played in.
I also came to realize 3 things about the draft
- The order the players are listed in make no logical sense! Trying to apply logic to the draft was like trying to debate philosophy with a horse, it just doesn't work!
- You are trying to compare players that score points in completely different ways
- The whole pre-season draft prep wasn't giving me the information I needed in a clear and consise way to help me make the right decisions on draft day.
That's why I created MY PERFECT FANTASY DRAFT and after getting it in a working beta in 2015 my fortunes in Fantasy Football immediately changed for the better.
I play in three leagues each season: a standard points league, a PPR league and a custom points league. My record since creating this app speak for themselves. Since creating this app, I've been to the championship game 7 times and have won 6 titles(out of 12 tries total)! I attribute this success primarily to the app helping me find the best players and showing which players to avoid.

It All Starts With The Draft
Success in fantasy football is 50% Draft, 30% Managing Your Team and 20% Luck. If you screw up your draft, you've just dropped youself into a hole that you will not be able to waiver wire your way out of once the season starts. Have a solid draft and everything else comes easier. You'll consistantly have a higher projected score than your opponent. Everything you do will be from a position of strength. This means that even when something goes wrong, like your #1 guy goes down with a season ending injury, you'll have great players behind him ready to fill in the gap with minimal disruption to your team.
My Perfect Fantasy Draft utilizes four key stats to help you find the best players at each and every round of the draft
- VALUE - What is the difference between their Expected Draft Position (EDP) and their Value Rank. If the value is ranked higher than the EDP, that means the player is undervalued and should be targeted!
- OUTLOOK - A Five star measurement of the intangibles about each player. What is their expected volume? Was there a coaching change? Is it a contract year? Are they dealing with an injury? Positive criteria add stars to their outlook, negative criteria subtract stars from the criteria. You want players with as many stars as possible.
- RELIABILITY - How many games has the player missed, on average, over the past 3 seasons. You want High and Mid reliability players!
- CONSISTENCY - How consistent is their usage from week to week? Rated on a scale of 1-10 you want players with as high a consistency rating as possible.
When you enter DRAFT MODE, the player list will be broken down round by round and the app will provide a VORC score for each player. Negative ratings on any of the key stats will savagely punish their VORC score, helping to weed out marginal and sub-par players! Each round will rank the players according to their VORC Score with the highest score players at the top of the list, making it easy to find the right player at each and every round!
